The Cape Town International Convention Centre (CTICC) covers approximately 6.1 hectares (15 acres). It is located in the Victoria & Alfred Waterfront in Cape Town, close to major hotels and the city center. The Westin Hotel at the CTICC is situated on the north-western corner of the same premises, near the city center. The CTICC boasts around 11,200 square meters (121,000 square feet) of exhibition space, which can be divided into multiple conference or banquet venues, including a large ballroom. The center has two auditoriums and a building that stands up to 1,500 people.

In December 2009, the CTICC hosted the draw for the FIFA World Cup final stages. Among the attendees were Nobel Peace Prize laureates de Klerk and Desmond Tutu.
